Joe Cocker started his career in the 60s and uptoday toured Italy many times. Francesco Sanavio promoted him for the first time in July 1972, after the release of the album “Something To Say” much better known as “Joe Cocker” as it was the only thing written on the album cover. The three successful concerts were in Milan at the Vigorelli, in Bologna at the Stadio Comunale and in Rome at the Palasport.
In 1986 Joe Cocker released the album “Cocker” containing the single “You Can Leave Your Hat On” featured in the soundtrack of the movie “9 ½ weeks” starring Mickey Rourke and Kim Bassinger. The song was the background of one the famous movie scenes, the sexy Kim Bassinger striptease.
This successful album brought Joe Cocker back on the top of the charts in the USA and in all Europe and on this fortunate moment Francesco Sanavio organized his European Tour, in the summer of 1986 with almost 50 dates.
